How thick is the foam? You only have outside measurements on here. I have an 11 1/4" tall beam x 3 1/2" wide

The material is approximately 1 inch thick (+/- ¼ inch). We recommend adding 2.5 " to the width and 1.5" to the height if you are covering an existing beam. This will allow for the thickness of our product as well as any production variance.
