Using a Rough Sawn faux wood beam is a great way to cover existing materials. Manufactured by Barron Designs, these high-density polyurethane foam beams are approximately 1 inch thick. The inner dimensions of a 3-sided beam are about 2 inches less than the outer width you specify and 1 inch less than the outer height specified. For 4-sided beams, the inner dimensions are approximately 2 inches less than the outer dimensions. These faux beams are handmade to order, so inner dimensions may vary. When installing, allow for some tolerance to cover other materials, as you can always fill gaps but cannot make the finished beams any larger. Perfect for a wood beam ceiling transformation!
