Are the colors enhanced in photos?

My contractor has ordered several samples at my request. I'm getting a little frustrated as color on samples don't look same as photos. Are the colors enhanced in photos?

All monitors are different especially if they have not been color calibrated recently. Also lighting is different in every space. This is the main reason that we recommend samples. If you would like a specific color you can order the beams unfinished and have someone paint them if none of our colors are meeting your tastes.
