What size beams do you recommend?
Rough Hewn Faux Wood Sample
My room has vaulted ceilings in the center, rising from 8 feet to 12.5 feet. the room is approximately 25 feet x 25 feet. What size beams do you recommend?

Wow. That sounds like an amazing space. The size really depends on the aesthetic you're looking for. With a vault like that you can easily do a bulky ridge beam. Ridge and rafter beams would make a dramatic statement (just be sure that the rafter beams are smaller than the ridge beams). Also a truss would be gorgeous.
