To create a longer installed beam, can 2 shorter beams be installed end to end, or must a single longer beam be purchased? Is there a way to hide the joint if 2 shorter beams are installed?

2 beams can be installed against each other or 1 long beam can be purchased. If using two beams any seams can be hidden with our decorative straps or by using colored caulk/wood filler and touch up paint (touch up paint is included in the order).
