How do I cover an existing mantel?
Rough Sawn Faux Wood Beams
I am wondering if this would work to secure a faux wood mantle as a cover for our current concrete mantle secured to stone and very difficult to remove. The length of the stone fireplace is 5'8''.
The current mantle is 5 feet. The height of the mantle including the brackets it would need to over is 8 inches and the depth is 7.5 inches. We want something more substantial and definitely with more depth from to back. I don't see where I could send a picture , but if you email me back I could send it that way.
Thanks, Kathleen
