While our Old Chicago Brick Panels have the option to upgrade to a Class A fire rating, that does not make them non-combustible or fireproof. Our products can be used near fireplaces & wood stoves but with restrictions. Our wall panels are made of high-density polyurethane and are combustible. When installed around a fireplace opening/insert, and/or stove, you must follow the fireplace insert/stove manufacturer's specifications for required clearances of Class B materials. You also must adhere to any, and all, building and/or fire codes concerning clearances that are applicable in your area.
